GHG Protocol

The GHG Protocol is the set of greenhouse gas accounting standards most widely used by companies, developed by WRI and WBCSD.

It includes the Corporate Standard, the Scope 2 Guidance and the Scope 3 Standard, which defines its 15 categories. The CSRD and other reporting frameworks take it as the reference to classify emissions.
